Research and Development
The Research and Development Cell is headed by a team consisting of the Principal, HODs and fully assisted by experienced Senior Faculty members of V.R.S. College of Engineering and Technology. Our Institution encourages all faculty members to undertake sponsored research programmes /projects supported by different funding agencies such as DST, CSIR, DSIR, UGC, AICTE and the Ministry of Environmental Sciences etc..
Each department is encouraged to involve in different research activities throughout the academic year. Research activities by various departments of our Institution will be monitored by the R&D cell periodically. The R&D cell would like to have healthy interactions between the Institute and the Industries, which can be ensures
- Proposals are sent to several funding agencies such as ICMR, TNSCST, AICTE, UGC, DST, DRDO, ISRO, CSIR etc. to get funds for the R&D projects.
- Reputed industries are invited to sign MoUs with VRSCET and the existing MoUs are effectively utilized for getting consultancy projects for both the faculty members and students.
