Cricket Team won Runner–up in Anna Unversity Zone-V Cricket Team (Men) Tournament conducted at Surya Engineering College from 30^th August to 04^th September, 2017

Hockey Team (Men) won Runner-up M.G.R. Century year Trophy 2017 in Hockey Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted by Tamil Nadu State Government held at Mailam Engineering College during 6^th and 7^th August 2017.

Kho-Kho Team (Men) won First Place M.G.R. century year Trophy 2015 in Kho-Kho Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted by Tamil nadu State Government held in V.R.S. College of Engineering & Technology, Arasur on 8^th August 2017.

Kho-Kho Team( Women) won Runner-up M.G.R. century year Trophy 2017 in Kho-Kho Inter Collegiate Tournament conducted by Tamil Nadu State Government held at V.R.S. College of Engineering & Technology, Arasur on 8^th August 2017.

Football Team (Men) won third place in Anna University Zone-V Tournament conducted at Mailam Engineering College during 6^th and 7^th September 2017.

Mr.S.Sethupathy of II EEE secured first place in 5,000 mts & 10,000 mts,Mr M.Vijay of II Mech. won first Place in High jump for Boys and Ms.K Deepeka , IV Civil Engg, secured first place in High Jump & second palce in Shot put for Girls at the Anna University Zone-V Athletic meet conducted at Adhiparasakthi Engg. College, Melmaruvathur from 5^th and 6^th October 2017.

Mr.A.Suriya Prakash of Final Year Civil Engineering, has been selected to represent Anna University, Chennai, Kho-Kho Team (Men) for the South Zone Inter – University Competition held at University of Mysore, Karnataka from 17^th to 20^th January, 2018

Mr.A.Murali, Director of Physical Education was appointed as selection committee member for Taekwondo (Men & women) & Boxing (Men & women)Anna University Inter Zone Competition held at Mailam Engg. College from 21^st to 22^nd September 2017 and Kumaraguru College of Tech., Coimbatore on 12^th Dec 2017 respectively.
